Faith that rolls up its sleeves
As a registered charity, our ministries exist for the community — weekly gatherings, annual retreats, and practical outreach for people facing hardship, homelessness, disability and unemployment.
Weekly meetings & annual retreats
Filter our regular rhythm of gatherings below, and contact us for this week's exact times and locations.
Sunday Worship Service
Our main weekly gathering — worship, prayer and teaching from the Bible, followed by morning tea. Children and newcomers warmly welcome.
Bible Study & Fellowship
A smaller midweek meeting to dig deeper into Scripture, share life and pray for one another.
Prayer Meeting
A dedicated time of prayer for our church, our city and the needs of our community.
Annual Church Retreat
Each year the whole church family gets away for rest, renewal and community. Financial assistance is available so no one misses out.
Times and venues can change week to week — please confirm on 0410 776 397 or info@friendschurchsydney.com.
Programs that serve our neighbours
Our charity was registered to help people. These are the programs at the heart of that calling.
Homelessness & Housing Support
We walk alongside people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness — providing care packs, meals, friendship and help connecting with housing and support services.
Disability & Inclusion Care
People with disability are full members of our church family. We provide accessible gatherings, transport help and one-on-one support so everyone can participate.
Unemployment & Job Readiness
For those looking for work, we offer encouragement, resume and interview help, and a community that refuses to let anyone face unemployment alone.
Family & Financial Relief
We support families and people facing financial hardship with groceries, essentials, bill support where possible, and practical care through tough seasons.
Overseas Partnerships
Our care crosses borders. We partner with overseas communities and charities through prayer, financial support and relationship — because love has no postcode.
General Community Support
From new arrivals finding their feet in Sydney to isolated neighbours needing a friend, our doors — and our table — are open to the whole community.
Reach out — we are here for you
If you need support, or you would like to volunteer with any of these programs, we would love to hear from you.
